Join us in raising awareness for the visually impaired with a special yoga session where you have to rely on your other, non-visual senses.
This beginner-friendly class will have both the visually impaired and normal-sighted practicing together, but those who can see will be blindfolded, allowing them to experience what the Vis (visually impaired) do through. At the same time, the experience of being blindfolded while practicing will allow their sense of hearing and touch to become heightened. One starts to become even more aware of the use of their muscles and movement as well.
We hope to set a national record for the largest number of blindfolded participants practicing yoga together.
